Background of the Study

Strategic partnerships play a vital role in the growth and sustainability of businesses, especially for startups in competitive and dynamic industries. Fintech startups, in particular, operate in a sector characterized by rapid technological advancements, complex regulations, and the need for strong customer trust (Adeoye & Oloyede, 2024).

In Niger State, fintech startups are emerging as key players in transforming the financial services sector by offering innovative solutions like mobile banking, digital payments, and financial inclusion for underserved populations. Strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology providers, and government agencies are critical for these startups to scale their operations, access funding, and navigate regulatory challenges (Ogunyemi & Hassan, 2023).

This study investigates how strategic partnerships contribute to the business growth of fintech startups in Niger State, offering insights into the key factors that foster successful collaborations.
